ROSSIGNOL Experience 88 Basalt Ski

ROSSIGNOL Experience 88 Basalt Ski

The Rossignol Experience 88 HD has gotten some improvements this season, but still remains a fantastic ski for the solid intermediate wanting a ski to take them to the next level, all the way up to the expert that wants a highly maneuverable on piste ski. The major overhaul this season is the fact that Rossignol has added the new Carbon Alloy Matrix. The Carbon Alloy Matrix uses basalt and carbon fiber in a diagonal weave that increases the vibration absorption, edge grip, stability, and responsiveness, taking a great ski and only making it better. The Experience 88 HD also boasts the Auto Turn Rocker that has a rockered tip, camber underfoot, and a small amount of rocker in the tail, for a highly maneuverable ski. Rossignol's Air Tip Construction uses a honeycomb pattern in the tip to pull heavier material away from the tip of the ski for a lower swingweight, and increased maneuverability. An Extended Sidecut provides the most control and edge grip at both fast and slow speeds, which is one the best features of the Experience 88 HD, is the fact that it can be skied at any speed. If you are searching for that perfect ski that rips carves at any speed in a cool and precise manner, find out what all the fuss is about, with the all new Rossignol Experience 88 HD.

FACTION Heroine Ski

Faction Heroine Ski

Whether you're looking to dial in those 540s, rip slush bumps, or seek out the natural hits littered around the mountain, the Faction Heroine Skis are your ticket to all-mountain mastery. Featuring a solid hybrid rocker outline, and a versatile 90mm waist, the Heroine is equally at home sessioning that frustrating double kink as it is queuing up the windlips up top. Tackle it all and come out smiling.

PRODUCT DETAILS
ROCKER TYPE

Rocker / Camber / Rocker – 10 mm of rocker over 200 mm in the tip, 2 mm of camber underfoot, 5 mm of rocker over 100 mm in the tail.

FLEX

Medium-Stiff Flex – Stable at speed or on big landings, but still playful enough to butter and press.

SIDECUT

Dual Radius Sidecut – Borrowed from world cup race skis, two different radii on the one ski -- a tighter radius forward of the boot center coupled with a 20% larger sidecut behind -- lets Faction increase the edge-to-edge responsiveness so you can carve short turns whilst retaining high speed stability and control through the tail of the ski.

SHAPE

Transition Zone Technology – Faction's "Blended Transition Zones" use complex curve geometries where both positive/negative sidecut and where rocker/camber meet to make turn initiation fluid yet the whole ski more stable and controllable in all conditions.
